So what leather belt do you wear?

I looking for some opinions on a quality black leather belt. By quality I mean thick enough to support my side arm as well as my HEST for EDC. I hate a sloppy fit such as a 1 1/2 inch belt through a 2 inch sheath; too much slack and wobble. I was looking at the 5.11 belt that is made reinforced for carry but it appears to only be available in 1 1/2 inch.

So what keeps yer pants up? Recommendations/ pics? Thanks...

I have & recommend a Kramer Horsehide belt. They have several widths. EXTREMELY nice belt but they're pretty pricey. Like they say... you get what you pay for! lol!

+1 on Beltman. I have had mine for over a year and it has not gotten any softer then when new.

At work, I wear a 20 + year old Bianchi belt. Is very soft and very comfortable. It has stretched a bit, but the stitching is still tight.

Monica Kuehn Leather. She makes a great belt, as well as great holsters. (I have two IWB holsters, a belt, and a mag pouch. All held up great with all-steel 1911s through three days at Thunder Ranch.)

If you live near any Amish, go to their tack shop and have them make you a belt out of harness leather. That's what I did. I got two belts and buckles made, Both belts and buckles cost only $25. You can get a belt damn near a 1/4'' thick if you want. They have some THICK HEAVY leather.

When I made this belt it was meant to be part of my range rig, but it's worked out so well I wear it every day.
It's 1 1/2 wide and about .200 thick...it will out-live me...

When I carry a gun on my belt, I have a Rafter S belt on. Excellent custom leather belts. Otherwise, I wear whatever is handy.

If you do not live near any Amish, try the Good Belt from Stafford's in Thomasville GA; very similar to Filson belts (I have both) but use chicago screws instead of snaps to secure buckle in belt. Also come in black or brown with two widths. They say on inside of belt "AMISH HANDCRAFTED ASSEMBLED IN USA"
