So... what prototype do you like the best?

You've probably had a chance by now to check out the great Spyderco prototype photos that James Mattis has posted around BF. Or maybe you were lucky enough to go to the Blade Show and see them in person! Either way, the question must be asked: What's your favorite prototype?

Granted, most of us haven't handled these knives yet, but I've already made a short list. They're all cool, but the prototypes I like best are:
 1. Temperence (upswept blade)- In slang terms, it's "da bomb".
 2. Chinook - A close second.
 3. Meerkat - This will probably be a huge hit.
I really like the look of the Chinook. The Temperence with the Puffin blade a close second.

I see..you don't like the poor old GUNTING???
gads my feelings are hurt!

The Gunting and Ayoob deadheat as my fave aggro knife, the Vesuv's and Lum tie for special occasions...dammit, I love them all

ATS-34, G-10, compression lock, beautiful blade and (judging by the scans)a very ergonomic handle shape - the VESUVIUS is the OBVIOUS.

Sal, what are the dimensions of (and thank you for)this creation?

1. Lum
2. Ayoob
2. Gunting (not a typo, but a tie for second

)
3. Chinook
4. Meerkat

i didn't put the endura trainer on the list since it's not a knife per-say, but it will be the first thing i buy

NCBLADES:
Ok the knife in Sal's hand is part of the MBC line up..its the new Temperance Jr... very aggressive little cutting tool..
Its not the GLITZ..oops the Vesuvious...( Joke Sal..joke!)
see ya!

I'm surprised that there aren't more votes for the Lum Chinese Folder. I guess that just goes to show how many excellent knives Spyderco introduced at the show. My favourites , in order are:
 1. Chinese Folder,
 2. Vesuvius,
 3. Meerkat.
I like the MBC folders but can't see myself ever needing to carry one.

I have some questions regarding the Blade show....

Is it at the same venue every year?
Where is the next one?
What is the date?

I was thinking, maybe I could catch it if I am visiting the USA for my holidays.....or I could work my hols around it!
Would appreciate any info.

THanks.

Ken
