I'm interested in getting some throwing knives. I want a set so I don't have to walk back and forth from the target each throw, what do you recommend? People say Cold Steel is the best company, so what blade from them would you recommend? Also, should I get a handle or blade as a beginner (personally, I think the blade looks cooler. More ninja like, but if its too dangerous, idk)?

Please link.

Thanks

The set i bought when starting out was the United cutlery lightningbolts, In my opinion they are well made, one pice of steel so not much can go wrong. Once you get more into throwing you will probly want something with a bit more lenght and weight, but they were good to me, set of 3, and pretty well priced.

i recommend the mini blazing arrows also by united cutlery, they are really nice and well weighted...and come in silver

i started out with CS sureflight and have a set of proflights (in a different state) and now have a set of true flights. I did a review of my initial impressions of the trueflight but have yet to throw them (main reasons are that they are too nice for me to ruin just yet and too sharp for me to play with...). They dont make the sureflight/proflight anymore which is a shame as they were dirt cheap and are very good and safe throwers.

P.S. yourcornerstore.com has the trueflights for 18bucks a pop, nearly half the price as the coldsteel website.
