So whats the skinny on Boker Magnum Damascus steel?

I recently purchased this little guy on kind of an impulse buy, since I never really had a Damascus blade folder before, and went home to google it, and am hearing mixed results on the steel itself not being very good?

Does anyone have any experience with these? It seems decent in the fit and finish category considering the price, not terribly sharp out of the box, but enough to pop hairs...
