So... What's your Combo FBM

Well what did you decide on as a FBM blade/handle combo.

I ended up having a real tough time with this one. 1 HOGFSHLE, 1 Desert Shadow Camo with black/tan mag g-10, 1 Black with black g-10, and one either green or green camo "can't really remember what I told amy" with the black/green mag g-10.

I may change my mind a few times over the next few days with some of the color combo's... there are just to many choices for handle colors and without being able to see them on a blade it's really hard to make a decision.

I was very disapointed not to see black paper micarta as a option:grumpy:
 
I share your dissapointment with the lack of black paper which I was really hoping for. I am doing black finish with the green linen, and the LE. Gotta wait till friday to order so I have the cash but thats what I am gonna have.

Who ordered blue handles? thats gonna be hot
 
Since the LE version is just a bit too expensive for me, I think I'll go with an Urban Grey Blade with a Magnum Black and Tan G-10 Handle. Otherwise I might just stick with a Magnum Black Handle (because I'm tight-fisted). Magnum handle is a must.
 
I ordered a LE and a tan micarta and urban grey for a cheap one.
 
After debating over and over, I went with Urban Grey & Mag Blue/Black G-10. I'm guessing (hoping) that these will be somewhat rare. ;)

Now to go donate plasma and a kidney...
 
Got me a green blade w/ balck micarta mags!

Think about it. The approximate market going rate for a HHFSH is about $450........... I got my FBM w/mags for less than that!

I actually changed my mind to what TurnerIII has his too. I saw a HR with that combo and it wowed me so I am changing it.

That was my second choice. Should be very cool. I caved and went for the LE. :thumbup:

Hey Raden.... (and others who see this before ordering)

One of the things I did before ordering mine was use the forum search feature and dig out some of the Extravaganza threads for some color combos. Also, the Nothing but Pics thread has several different color combos. At least, some of the color combos for what I was considering...

Just some advice. It really is hard to picture what it'll look like using the examples on the Busse site as I was weighing a green or jungle blade/tan mags, tan blade/green mags, or green or jungle blade/black mags (and examples of these patterns could be found in the above aforementioned threads).

Heck, if they remain on the site long enough...who knows? :p ;) :D

Good idea Deadhead - I actually printed out a color pic of the CG FBM and cut off the handle, then printed the different handles out and played around a bit mixing and matching to get my combos. Pretty primitive, but hey I suck at photo chopping digitally. I wonder if some whiz could photo chop a few pics of the CG with different handles from the Busse site...hint hint :D
 
I'm leaning toward an LE, and then try to save up for a Green/Green Linen CG FBM later on... :thumbup:
 
for now... CG black/green linen mags. :thumbup:

if i can afford another, i want another CG in urban shadow camo with either black canvas mags or green/black G10 mags.

but that snakeskin is VERY tempting also! :p
 
Black w/Tan Canvas.

I'm so danged traditional, I was just going Black/Black, but, looked around at some galleries and the Tan handles on a black blade just had "a look".

Also considered Urban Gray w/Tan Canvas.

Changed my mind 3 times in 10 minutes, then, pulled da trigga!! :thumbup:

No regrets. ;)
 
someone needs to order a jungle camo with blue/black mags and post pics.

that would be the farthest off color combo i can think of. :p
