So when is the new line supposed to be due?

I just discovered this subforum and read pretty much everything I could about Swamp Rat Knives. After reading for a couple hours I decided to buy a Howling Rat, but then discovered they were discontinued and a new line is coming out instead. Is there an approximate date it is due? I'm not trying to be annoying or anything, I just want a vague idea.

Yeah some of us are chomping at the bit already. After getting two Bog Dog's I'm anxious to see what the new hunters will look like. If it was the new Busse line we'd only have to wait two weeks! :D

Welcome to the Rat's corner of Bladeforums. To answer your question (and all of ours) we just don't know when they will release the new line. I know that reply wasn't any more information than Schuey, puuko or cleaner gave you, but I felt left out. ;)

I'm very eager to see the new knives, though. I hope that you stick around and hang out in the meantime. Hopefully it will happen soon. :thumbup:
 
Thanks guys. I will definitely be sticking around to see them. These knives have a lot of the same appeal to me that Spydercos do. I can see myself picking up at least one very quickly after they come out.
 
Or... you could just buy MY Howling Rat at 5 times the original price!!!:eek:

Just kidding...it has yet to arrive. :D

P.S. I'm a huge Spydie fan as well. I'm waiting for the waved D4 and E4, and the ZDP D4.
 
I'm sure you won't like it as much as you thought and at that point I will graciously purchase it from you at a steep discount, being that it will be used.

Welcome to the Swamp Rat forum, I can't give much more info than has already been given concerning the new line except to add that the wait is always worth it. Tough, but worth it ;)
