Usually I am very patient when it comes to waiting for knives. I am used to waiting a few years or more, but when it comes to this one ...

I am not even sure how many he is going to make, but I do know some are finished, since mine is below 15 and it is shipping at the end of this week. I assume there are at least 10 of them out there somewhere. Google is no help. A couple of dealers have notices, but no pics.

Anybody have a pic of one of these please post it or email it to me. I know it is an 8" bladed Model 2 with mosaic pins, turquoise micarta, satin flats and mirrored bevels.

Thanks in advance!

Signed,

Excited bastid that needs a pic fix :D .

My friend received his. He wants me to shoot it, so if we link up before Blade, I will post pics.

A friend sent this to me. I will not mention his name, that way Coop and Phill can only give me grief. :D Hum, looks like D2 can take a mirror polish.

Thank you ;). I feel a lot better now and can easily stand the wait. (not that I would be dissapointed with anything Walter makes. He asked me on Saturday morning at Blade last year if I wanted one, I just said yes without asking anything about it :eek and got "the phone call" last week.

Guess we'll have to wait for some of Bob's photography for a good pic :). The boy takes some pretty good pictures for a knifemaker. I worked through Emory as a photographer years ago. One of these days I need to put off buying one knife and get a decent camera. One of those new fangled digital SLR's or I could get a pretty darn nice knife instead...

...the guy in the reflection who's holding the camera! :D

Gus, that's a classic if I ever saw one. You will be pleased, I am certain.

Few guys can take as good a photo as Dogman. He raised my bar long ago! ;)

Coop

That's very nice!! You lucky bastid! :D

By the way, did that thing go through one of those CNC machines? :D

Ha, Coop, I raised your bar, then you broke mine on the way up to your level.

Gus, you gotta get yourself a camera. I love my D70 and shooting knives got me interested in photography in general. I spend more time shooting everything but knives now :D

Only had a few moments to grab a shot:

How much did Walter sell these for directly?

They are going for $2,500 or so currently. Just curiouis, thinking about getting one.

I never thought I'd say this about you Gus, but you suck. :p :D

That's one seriously cool knife! Where can a person get some of that micarta? I don't think I've ever seen that color micarta before.

So, Kimper... ya gonna go dig some holes in the back yard, chop up some 2x4's, scrape some gaskets, chop a cinder block or two, and stab through a car door with that?;) :D

Great looking knife! (and congrats too)

Well geeeesh..., that one is a SHOW STOPER...

Amazing grind....thanks....very nice picture also. I gave up trying to take pictures of mirriored blades....lol
