So Who Likes Tantos???

Well, after seeing the photos from KC this year, one knife stuck with me as one I had to add to my collection.....the TGLB Tanto. So I wasted no time in contacting Garth who was able to get me one made (in my typical setup, handshaped pumpkin g10 and black coating). Just a few weeks later it was complete and I had it shipped straight to Eric Lind over at Mashed Cat Kydex who set me up with yet again an AWESOME drop loop kydex sheath! It is now here and in my hands and since I haven't seen a bunch of them floating around, I thought some on here might like to see one! AWESOME knife! It is just begging to be stabbed into something...which I refuse to do, but if I ever had to...this is the knife for the job! I want to extend thanks out to Garth, Shaley, Lexi, Jerry, and Eric Lind! Thanks again Eric for the special attention regarding this knife (I did get the situation fixed yesterday, and it is now PERFECT). Now...onto the knife itself! Enjoy!!! (Photo Cred: Eric Lind)

I think that's the blades original shallow hollow grind playing tricks with your eyes

I'm still fairly new to knifemaking. I've never owned a tanto but am considering making one....just, because. But first, can someone tell me the advantages of the tanto? They look cool, but other than that, why a tanto? Thanks.
