So... who owns the most knives?

The largest my collection every got was a little over 50, I currently have around 25, of which 6 are customs, so on average they are much more expensive than the 50 I had at once...I realized fairly early in my collecting career that I wasn't going for quantity. I can skip buying a few $50-$100 knives and buy a custom, and generally that's what I do nowadays, with an occasional exception. I can see myself stepping up in to a couple of higher priced custom slipjoint folders in the future, but I don't care for the highly ornate stuff.

I stopped counting at approx. 600 which was over ten years ago. I sold a lot of them over the years but I think I'm still over 1,000. I haven't stopped buying.

This year alone I bought 2 SAKs, 3 Opinels, 1 Colonial Mark 1, 2 Bark River Woodlands, 1 Case Copperlock, 1 Camillus Abolone peanut, 1 Camillus USMC knife, 1 Ontario 12" machete, 1 Fiskars garden saw and 2 Swedish Mora Army knives!

Ya, it's way to many!

According to my mother, I do. But I've only got around 20 or so (including dinky keychain ones), 4 which I'd consider "real" knifes.

Hey Wolfman....I'm in that same boat. I used to own around 150 knives. I now have a grand total of 6! Course three are JWS folders so that sorta makes up for the loss...........
