So who scored the 2x SOW's in Ebay???

Imagine what the seller got them for?!

Actually I don't believe they were ever sold for less then $697 a piece, lowest I've seen so far was $675 on the second hand market. I'm sure the seller just sold them for a loss, as I've had to do on the last three Busse
s I've sold. Sometimes you need the funds for another project (or knife) and you just can't wait until the market picks up again.

I saw the auction when it was 30 min old. I thought of posting a "Hey, go look at that auction site" thread here but got busy.

If I thought they'd go fast, I'd have considered buying them to resell. Or sell one for $650 and keep the other at $400. But NO's don't do a whole lot for me.

I feel bad for the seller. Maybe he/she didn't know that Busse's sell for retail and retail+ a lot of the time.

OINK!!

Despite being a little nervous to pay that much to someone I don't know, I pulled the trigger.
I have almost spent $697 for one a couple of times, so when I saw the pair I felt like it was a great deal.
I am likely going to do what Dennis mentioned--sell one at a discounted price (probably between $600-650) and then keep the other for what would be $400ish.
I emailed the seller and she seems trustworthy, but until I have them in hand I will be a little bit nervous.
What's funny is, as I was logging on at ebay I was thinking of the SFNO Lunde recently got,
and how every once in a while you get lucky and find that amazing deal.
Thanks for leaving them, Dennis--I've been coveting a SOW for a while.:thumbup:

Nice score LH!:thumbup::thumbup:

Thast seller has a good reputation, I would of bought them!

Nice score Lazlo! Keep me in mine if you sell the second one.

Big Congrats:thumbup:
Bet your glad you didn't get mine last week now... it was only a little under cost. Now you'll be in one Cheap!

Great find LH:thumbup::thumbup:

ps- I would still like to have the knife of yours we talked about, been thinking of something else to offer up.

Whew. Glad it was one of us to grab them. That whole magnetic-pole moving towards the BF server and all. LOL

Thanks for the congrats, guys.
There's nothing better than having a bunch of fellow porkers share in a great score.
Well, I guess there are some things that are better.....but, not by much.

John, pics will be forthcoming.

Kenny, you're right--this takes the sting out of missing yours.
And while I like the red G10, and I love the price I got, the one you sold is still one of my favorite configurations:

Who knows, maybe with the cash I saved, I'll send one to Jerry and see if we can change the slabs up a bit:

If I hadn't scored an ASH-1 SE, I would have bought that one. I was eye-ballin' that one Friday and Saturday at Blade in June. Just had to be patient for the ASH-1 SE. :eek:

Phil, if I had seen this one in person, I'm not sure I would have been able to resist. Your hog fu is strong.:eek:

I was on the fence about it when Ken put it up. It's a beauty of a knife. :thumbup:

Outstanding score on that pair of SOWs!!! :thumbup::thumbup:

The BIN was a no-brainer.
