So who won the cheeseburger recipe contest??

I've been wondering the same thing. It seems to have fallen by the wayside...

I put a lot of though in my Jalapeno popper bacon ranch burger... w/ cheese.

They probably had a near death experience trying some of the suggestions.

I got my recipe the old fashioned way. Stole it from a restaurant I frequent.

the Volunteer Guest Judge who identified himself as "from down around the way" got too full and wandered off into the woods before turning in his score card

Nope, no winner ever announced, I guess all of our ideas were nasty :o

I was actually thinking of this contest recently too, I had a cheese burger where the buns were a doughnut cut in half and stuck over the grill, made me think of this :D

Pure genius!!!

Does this count as "a" Burger

OMGoodness....I think Jerry made one of those for the shop last year:eek::eek:

It's called a Luther Burger, I was inducted into this burger with full doughnuts and have known it no other way. Its absolutely amazing however you make them though, the glazing cooks and mixes with the meat, you really need a frying pan to finish up the burger, cook it all together with the doughnut buns, meat, cheese, and bacon in a bit of bacon fat, absolutely amazing combination of salty and sweet.

I think I'm going to get myself some krispy kreme and grill a few this coming friday.
