Alanta is the biggest show in the world..If you love knives it's the one NOT to miss..Dave will be there with his 110's, I'm bring my 112's. Buck will be there too and Im sure there will be lot's of BCCI members displaying..So who from the forum is gonna go?

Is that per day????? Also ALL rooms are non smoking and if they THINK you have smoked or fess up to it it's a min 250.00 fine! I met a guy in 07 who had it charged on his credit card...There is a little notice on the wall behind the door..Our room was 8 minutes away for 60.00

I'm planning on going, but can only attend on Saturday. If I recall correctly, the club meeting is usually on Saturday. My son's graduation is on that Sunday, and by then my wife will be eight months pregnant, so it's a tough weekend for me to escape.

We usually stay in a different hotel just a mile away also. There are tons of good hotels in Atlanta. It's an option for people who want to spend their money on knives instead.

Dave, sorry to hear the bad news about your wife... May be things will get Better in a week or two... And if you go to the Big show, take lots of pics for all of us to see that can't go.... :)

Clint, I really want to go... :thumbup: ... But it's a long walk from CA... :eek: ... LOL ... If I sell some more little toys you never know, or do I save my money and buy more Buck knives... :D :confused: :D
 
Armand ... You love the hunt and I tell ya Alanta is the best hunting for the rarest Bucks and ALL kinds of knives...Ill hang with the Buck people 90% of the time but there is so much talent on display in the Custom sector that alone is worth the trip...
 
Daves checking on rooms close...I need a pool! Im getting to old to sleep with the roaches....The BCCI /Buck people will most likly share a meal on sat nite thats good fellowship! Its like 7 hours for the trip for me...Not to bad.
 
I will be there for the duration. AKTI always has a board meeting there and would not miss the collector's club meeting. We ended up staying just over the hill last year for better rooms and smaller bills. I always try to make a southeastern dealer loop following blade and will probably shoot out Sunday for a monday morning appt somewhere.
 
Well the_longbow should be making an appearence in Atlanta. If we can find a plane from here to there.:eek: AS a "newbie to the show" I hope it is worth going east of the Mississipi. Maybe some of the BF members can lead me around so I dont get lost. :eek::confused: I hear there is also a BCCI meeting I wont want to miss.
