I was thinking about going, but having never been before, I dont know what to expect so I'm not motivated enough to commit.

Example: I'm a car guy, and went to SEMA a few years back with a couple of mechanic friends... While seeing the custom cars was cool, it was really more of an industy only event, so not owning a garage or being a retailer left me with little to do (and you cant buy anything at SEMA either). As a result, Ive been leary about specialty events like that.

I think it's worth it- you get to handle a whole lot of beautiful grails by everyone's favorite makers, and tthere PLENTY to buy. I've been to the East coast show twice, (same shoe just two months later) and it's great
