The Chesapeake Knife Show is one of the more prestigious knifeshows in the country. Many Knifemakers Guild members, Bladesmiths, and Knife Masters have or will be attending the show. Some of the makers who will be attending are: Ray Beers, Ken Steigerwalt, Al Polkowski, and Jot Khalsa, to name a few, along with Koval Knives and Stephen Bader Co. supplying the needs of the knifemakers.

Striper, I did the show for 9 years. I will have to disagree that it is one of the most "presitgious" shows in the country.

It is a good show with a diverse group of custom makers. A little more factory stuff then I liked.

Get there early. There is always a line to get in. Sales are always brisk for the first two hours or so.

I plan to attend.

Anyone know the policy on taking pictures? Are flash photos prohibited, all photos prohibited, or are all photos ok?

A great show, I've only missed once since they started. Have to agree with Les though having been to NY many times and to the last Guild Showe in Dallas the Chesapeake Show is small but a lot of good stuff will be available for purchase. Hey Striper, Im looking at my list of exhibitors and I don't see a Striper28! What else do you go by so that I make sure and check out your wares?

I'll be there along with a bunch of guys from over at the Balisong forum. I'll be wearing a green TAD Explorer jacket, and I have a bald head.

As i said in the other thread. ill have the shaved head, Black royal robbins tactical vest. WITH edc gear. And jeans. Ill be the guy drooling over everything i cant afford, and looking for a bali, or another spyderco.

Is there an age limit? I'll see if I can get there. I'll be the one crying because I can't buy anything :D

Bring money, someone will buy it for you, then give it to you as a gift, that was bought with your money.

I meant I can't buy anything because of the fact that I have no source of income other than holidays :)

I can't go anyways, something about my dad not wanting to drive 367 miles each way to go to a knife show he wasn't interested blah blah :( :)

I'm going to always bring my kids to knife shows, whether they like knives or not! :D
