...but are you firearm fans? If so I'd love to hear what everyone has.

I've got a 9mm Beretta PX4, a .40 Beretta 96 Centurion (that's off at Robar being refinished atm), a .22 marlin 60 scoped, a 7.62x54r Tula Mosin Nagant, and a 12 ga Remington 870. :)

It just seems to me like fine firearms and fine blades go hand in hand...except for some reason all my friends and coworkers seem to think I'm starting a militia or something lol. :)

I've got a few, some of my favorites are:

CZ 452 .22LR
Ruger Single Six convertible .22LR/.22WRM
Springfield Service Grade M1 Garand (CMP)
Remington 870 Express

-Matt

S&W Classic Hunter 2 (41 magnum)
Ruger New Model Blackhawk (45 Colt)
Kimber Custom II (45ACP)
Ruger 10/22
Remington 870 Express (12 ga)
DPMS AP4 (308), with detachable scope

That 870 is one popular shotgun isn't it? Dead on reliable, affordable, tried and true. There's an 870 Marine Magnum near me that I've been eyeballing, and they just dropped the price...must...resist.

No rifles any more, but way too many handguns.:o

And I really have no time for them, which is very sad.

Berettas, Colts, Smiths, HKs, Sigs ... the occasional Ruger, Taurus, and etc. I really shouldn't have so many lying locked up, partly disassembled, in safes.

I do have favorites, of course. Some early Colt 1911s, a fine Browning, a Colt Python (6", royal blue), and a modern HK in 9mm. Maybe some day I'll get time to fire them again. My skills have grown rusty.

And having said all this, I still keep an eye open for a Colt Peacemaker.:o

Mossberg 100ATR .270
Noveske Recce AR-15 (My pride and joy)
Remington 870 12ga
Ruger Super Blackhawk .44mag
Ruger SP101 .357mag
S&W M&P .40s&w
S&W Md. 36 .38spl
Springfield TRP Service Model .45acp

Put together this set of all-new-in-box Winchester M70 Classics/Supergrades when USRAC pulled the plug five years ago (top-to-bottom .458, .338 Win, .300 Win, .270 WSM, .270 Win-stainless Featherweight):

And this stainless Marlin 1895 Guide's model in .45/70 is sighted in with Buffalo Bore 405 gr. semi-jacketed flat-nose bullets @ 2000 fps yielding about 3500 ft lbs muzzle energy, just shy of elephant but will rock anything in the Western Hemisphere:

What am I forgetting...? Oh, yeah--benchrest/bean-field setup w/custom laminated stock in .270 WSM with 4.5x14 Zeiss:
