. . . well, check this out.
Many here will remember Sal Manarrow. Sal is a Knife Customizer Extraordinar.
We were first introduced to Sal by Patrick of TAD Gear:

This particular piece includes all polished hardware, Carbon Fiber scales and jeweled liners, it was the hand checkered Titanium backspacer that really caught every ones eye.
My carry Mini is off getting pretty much the same treatment, the whole "shebang" as it were.
But I slipped my brand new Super Commander into the box as well. I wanted Sal to take a look at it and see what he thought the possibility of a checkered Ti backspacer was. He was unsure because of the shear size of the backspacer and Ti isn't the easiest thing on checkering files.

The man couldn't say "No" to a challenge. Add to this, Sal just got a new Anodizing machine, so now he can do backspacers and liners in colors.
Last week I get a package in the mail and I didn't even wait to get out of the Post Office to open the damn thing.
What a beauty. He Anodized the backspacer a pretty Gold/Bronze color that really goes well with the Green scales of the Super-C. The size of the Ti spacer looks to be the same as the original, but there is a new, real cool heftier feel to the butt of the Super-C. While the stock Super-C was solid, this baby is ROCK SOLID!
Needless to say, I can't wait for the Mini-C to come home.
Anyone interested can contact Sal at Manarrows@aol.com
