My thoughts exactly, but Talonite or Stellite.

I'll answer those and add two more.

BLADE SIZE : 3.5"
SHAPE : Full bodied drop point
STEEL : S30V properly heat-treated (no chipping problems)
LOCK : Axis (or one of the new Axis clones)
HANDLE : Titanium or Spyderco's grippy G-10
OPENER : Spyderhole with Wave hook above (a la waved Endura)
CLIP : Tip-up carry ambidextrous black pocket clip, preferably SS

Blade size: 3.5"-3", including a 0.5" choil
Shape: flat-ground drop point
Steel: S30V
Lock: Axis
Handle: G10 with liners

My perfect knife has a handle-shape and pocket-feel like a Spyderco Native, but with all-screw construction and lined G10 handles. It's got a blade like a Benchmade RSK or Spyderco Lil'T but with a choil, Spyder-hole opener, and an Axis lock.

I'll play...

Blade size: Doesn't really matter as long as the handle to blade ratio is comfortable. I like a handle of at least 3 inches and a blade of at least 2.5.

Shape: I like drop points.

Steel: VG-10, 1095, 154cm/ATS-34, 440c, S30V in that order.

Lock: I really like the Axis lock, but I prefer lockbacks.

Handle: I really like the maroon micarta Buck used to use on the 500 series. Not a high tech, tactical material, but it's pretty. I also really like G-10.

blade size: around 3 inches

shape: drop point or tanto.

steel: 145cm, or mybe infi :)

lock: axis hands down

handle: aluminum with g10 inlays

BLADE SIZE : 3"
SHAPE : Modified Wharncliffe
STEEL : S30V
LOCK : Axis
HANDLE : G10 w/ Titanium Liners

I guess I just want a souped up Leek without the liner lock

I'm glad you asked.

BLADE SIZE : 3.5-3.75
SHAPE : Sabre-flat tanto or drop point.
STEEL : Any good stainless. VG10, S30V, 154CM, BG42, RWL34.
LOCK : Steel framelock, but I don't have any problems with a well executed linerlock.
HANDLE : G10 or Micarta.
OPENER: No hole, no stud, just a flipper. Fully manual.
CLIP: Tip down.
FINISH: Satin
OTHER: No ******* torx screws, just quality philips or flathead. Open back. Big pivot pin.
PRICE: Under $150.

Unfortunately no production knife like this, however the Kershaw ZT200 will be rather close.

Good topic, congratulations.

The closest thing to my ideal knife would be my Emerson HD-7. The price is not ideal though even if it does have titanium slabs. The Spyderco Waved Endura will be getting pretty close too.
