Soaked knife

Friends want to show this knife.
Their caladura is by hand and it took me a great effort of many working hours.
Recently I taught it in another forum, I wait it is of your pleasure.
It is carried out in steel 440 - TO and ivory.
A greeting.
Montejano.

Beautiful seems inadequate. I caan't imagine the amount of work necessary to produce such a magnificent knife. Congratulations

EXCELLENT! Thanks for sharing. That knife is stunning. Keep up the great work. :)

truly what i have seen so far are blades fit for royalty :D:D

words can barely describe how amazing these are...

Incredible, beautiful ... I can not come up with words to decribe this work that would come close to giving it the description it deserves.

I agree with everyone else, It's very hard to express in words when you show a work of art like this but I'll try. Beautiful!!

Felicidades
Dave

I thank sincerely looking at my knife, and the beautiful words on my work.
I hope to continue being with you and to show you but knives and engravings.

An affectionate greeting.

Montejano.

I don't think anybody could disagree with the fact that that is an incredibly beautiful piece of work.

Gorgeous!

I have a question though. You say it is made from 440 - TO and ivory. What is TO? If TO is not a material, what are the guard and fittings made from?

Mr. Montgomery :

In the first place thank you for their interest. He/she has looked like each other to understand that asks me for the material of the hilt (garnish).
I didn't comment it in their moment and I made a description but detailed of the knife, for not extending a lot.
The leaf of the cuchilo is 440-TO
Ivory (engraving with mixed technique to the strong water " )
German nickel (it is the material that you ask me), the composition of the German nickel is copper mixture, zinc and nickel. The German nickel has a very similar coloring to the silver.

I send another picture of the crossbeam.
I wait to have responded well to their question.

An affectionate greeting. Montejano.( Spain )
