Soaking water stones?

Greetings,
A quick question, Can Edgepro water stones be soaked too long?
I tend to keep mine soaking all the time. Could this be incorrect?
I saw on a recent post which I won't go in to that this practice is incorrect.

Thanks ,
Eric

My 120 stone seemed to go soft after an extended soaking period. I no longer keep my Edgepro stones soaking 24/7.

I've soaked them in water for months on end without ill effects. Some other waterstones don't like being soaked for more than 20 minutes, but not the EdgePro ones.
