Receiving the mail was rather exciting this week.

Not the best pictures....but here they are anyway.

The SOB arrived earlier this week. I placed the order for the AXE Hammer earlier this week and it arrived today (pretty durn fast).
I''m liking them both quite a bit. Great designs, in my opinion. Fit and finish is excellent and they both feel comfortable in my medium sized hands. No play time yet except for creating bare spots on my arm.
I must say that Josh (at Busse Combat) put an excellent convex edge on the SOB. It easily mows hair. Thank you Josh. The edge on the AXE Hammer is no slouch either.

The AXE Hammer arrived with a very well made Kydex sheath (nice work David).

And just to show that the Elmax steak knives can do more than skin a deer.....guts trimmed, before slicing.

Hope this is not blasphemy here, but the Spyderco Phil Wilson Southfork saw a bit of action also.

And the four legged son, just to top things off.

Thanks for looking. Mike

Nice combination of tools. I like the AXE Hammer but that SOB looks super nice.

Yes, I think that the SOB is more the general purpose utility knife. I do like them both also. Thanks. Mike

Tom where is the cool sheath for the Axe Hammer :)
And I need a orange Mudd Mutt :)

How did I miss these axe hammers? When were they released?

They are an exclusive Busse Combat is doing for - not sure I can mention the company - and there is an article about them in the latest Blade Magazine. A limited edition AXE Hammer is featured on the magazine cover. There is another recent thread about them somewhere in this subforum. They are readily available. I'll send you a PM with the company name.

Very cool, thank you for the kind words and the post.
You're quite welcome. Mike

Nice pictures Tom. Thank you.

They are being sold by Axelson Tactical. Just type "Busse Axe Hammer" into a google search and they are the first hit. On another note, I received mine in the mail today too!

Dave, sorry for omitting the sheath picture, but I figured that since Mike pictured his sheath that I didn't need to; sorry about that!:o It IS a sweet sheath!!!;)

That AXE is a really nice knife. I like everything about it. I think that I will need to put yet another dent in my plastic and spring for one.

Oh man... That set is schweet!!!!!!!!!!!
I been wanting an old school Badger, but the AXE is now starting to call to me... Noooooo. Must resist...
