SOCFK in hand

Just got SOCFK #394 from the UPS truck. I darn near had to JiuJitsu my wife to get the box from her. She calls it teasing...not funny in my book!

This is my first Tanto style blade, and I am really impressed. I already shredded the packing box it came in, testing how it cuts.

At this point, I think the Commander's handle is more comfortable, I think because the Commander is a little more hand-filling.

Until I had one, I did not realize how well a Tanto cuts using the point created by the two primary edges. Pretty amazing.

I almost had one complaint. When clipped to my pocket, it seemed to ride higher than my Commander. I mean, there was a lot of handle sticking up. So I compared the two. The Commander actually has more handle exposed, but since it tapers to a point, compared to the broader pommel of the SOCFK, it appeared to ride lower.

Two more things. The blade opening is really stiff, and I am afraid the pivot pin may work itself loose after some time and use. Do you have any suggestions?

Wait, wait, WAIT! You mean the pivot screws come LOOSE?!? Aww, DAMN, man! Now I gotta get rid of mine! Don't want the POS falling apart on me!

OK, who wants a 2000 plain, Black-T Commander, and Green-T #35 SOCFK, cheap? Oh, yeah... better cancel that custom Tanto order...
