SOCFK Rocks!

OK guys, I'm a little behind the times here (I'm new to this) But I just got my SOCFK (black T # 186) in the mail and was very impressed. The blade appears longer than the cqc7's and the handle is very comfortable, and so far I can "wave" it better than my commander.
Now I need to track down a plain edged chromed one (they don't exist, do they?)
Is this anyone else's favorite? Hell, I like them all, I just like this one more right now.
cheers,

Yes! The SOCFK does rock. The SOCFKBBTS is my favorite Emerson.
I love this knife. I think the grooves on the thumb ramp are one of the coooolest features of this knife. The wave rocks.

How do you guys pronounce the name of this knife?

"sock" like what you put on your feet.

I have green-T #35, and I have to agree - it rocks. And ya know what? It's even BETTER when you modify it a little, like this:

Thanks go to Kevin Robinson for making it so pretty.

As far as I know there were no plain edge SOCFK's produced. There are three distinct versions being Tanto with Black-T blade, spear point with Black-T blade and a Green-T spear point. I have asked Steve at Extreme outfitters about a plain blade version but he says the operators prefer a combination edge. Dick

Bud -

Don't forget the green-T tanto...

I believe somebody here on the forum once said that they saw and/or bought a plain edge SOCFK, apparently a fluke.
All the SOCFKs I have seen have been combo edge.

Yeah, that was me, Malazo. I saw a thread where a guy mentioned he got a plain edge from Extreme Outfitters - but it was a goof up that made it out of the factory alive... the lucky SOB.

Dick - I believe you could always get a "satin" blade on the SOCFK. Extreme Outfitters has a picture of one on their website.

bttt
just picked up socfk spear point #17 and it's great!
anybody else prefer the spear point socfk to the tanto? I thought I read where only 100 spearpoitns were made-was that the initial production and there are more now or what? Had to sell my mach-1 to get it, but it was a worthy sacrifice!
cheers,
DWE

Im a SOCFKaholic also Ihave all 3 versions and i love um all, well ok I love my commanders, P-Sark, waved 7....... did I miss any?

The lucky SOB with the plain edge SOFCK would be me

According to extreme outfitters, it was indeed a fluke. It is also thhe only plain edge SOCFK that they have come across.

Ban

Ban - Feel like selling that useless QC mistake from the EKI factory? I'll take it off your hands for ya, buddy.

hmmm...let me see... a SOCFK with QC mistakes probably isn't worth much correct?
Maybe I should consider selling the oddball that somehow slipped through QC...

yeah right!!! Fat Chance!

BTW, your customized SOCFK looks really nice. I am considering doing the same to mine. How much does doing something like that cost?
