Social Group Question

I'm trying to transfer ownership of The Sour Mash to mossyhorn.

It keeps telling me: "User does not have permission to own social groups."

Does mossy have to pony up to own?

I can't find anything written to that effect, but I can't figure any other reason.

Any clarification on this would be appreciated. It appears now that mossyhorn's gonna upgrade anyway, But it would be nice to know what the rules are on this.
