Has anyone here has joined facebook ? I too thought it was for kids
but was then told by one of my business associates about it's functionality
So, I just joined it the other day and it truly is an amazing and robust tool for social networking.
Anyway, if you are a member please let me know as I would very much like to add a few other fellow knife nuts and steel addicts to my friends list.

thanks

B

I'm on Facebook and LinkedIn. For a professional tool, I like LinkedIn best.

OK gents. We have a few guys on there now, anyone else ?

Isn't facebook for teenage girls??? :p

j/k... I went and registered, but I didn't really put much on the page yet.

I joined facebook and not even one teenage girl has asked to be my friend. Just a bunch of ugly guys that like cutlery.

Nick, just post a picture of you all flexed out and the girls will be there.... I know that my daughters think you're dreamy.... then I remind them that since you're a full time maker you probably smell worse than me. :D

Bruce, refined gentlemen such as yourself have to use their experience and wiles to lure ladies. :p Looks are nothing without a personality :D

yeah.........me too. The only other people who asked to be my friend were family members and, well, the kinda have to, right?:D

I use the internet a LOT and have been invited to join (by friends etc.) on Facebook, MySpace etc.

My reservation however is that unscrupulous spammers, scammers and all around low life individuals use those sites to obtain information and to choose victims.

I chose to restrict my 'virtual friendship' only to people that either are my friends in real life, or who I've communicated enough with through correspondence or over the phone, that I'm confident I like them. I know several people who have HUNDREDS of friends, and to be honest, I'd rather collect knives than people, so that's where I'm at.

Hey guys, I just went to facebook, just to check it out. I searched for knives and alot of anti knife and guns groups came up. Maybe this is a good place to show what a valuable tool a knife is. I will join soon.
