Socket type for Anthem Axis bolt

Does anyone know which socket drive is needed to remove the Axis-lock bolt on the Anthem? I think it is some sort of security socket. Thanks

It’s just female torx but I’m not sure of size, I keep meaning to check at work

It's usually T8 or T10.

Just one word of advice. Don't buy cheap Torx bits. You can strip the screw if you aren't careful. Go with Wiha or Wera. Buy once, cry once.

Hmm, my best guess is a female torx E-8. Will have to pick some up to check.

Its not a torx as these others have stated. It would appear to be a socket but unfortunately no socket I have found will fit. It seems its a propriety Benchmade tool needed to remove the axis lock. I actually called them and they confirmed this. That's one reason I sold mine. The user can't fully maintain it themselves.

Yeah this does require a special tool for disassembly.
