I got the DOC yesterday and the Socom today.
These are my 1st 2 Microtechs. The DOC is really nice and I got it for a great price from a BF member. The Socom looks great. It's IMO a very cool looking knife w/pretty perfect F&F. Very smooth operating and the lockup is rock solid, it's crazy cause I thought because it's a skinny knife it would have some play but zero, same w/the DOC. Something that really surprised me was the Socom was pretty dull out of the box. I mean dull dull, would not cut paper, no arm hairs shaved. I was really bummed about that, other Microtechs I've seen have been really razor sharp so that kinda sucked. I've got to be careful, really careful sharpening this bad boy. Oh yea I traded a custom PT and an standard SMF for the Socom.
