hey
i am looking for advice as to what my next knife should be. I am looking for a larg and reliable work knife. From what i have seen, these are all large and reliable knives. I have handeled each, and don't know which i like the best. Any input?

All three are very nice knives. I have all three and like them all. My favorite has to be the S2K. The quality of this knife impresses me. It has become my daily carry since I received it. I dont think you could go wrong with any of the knives you listed, but I lean towards the S2K.

Here we go again Dennis, I am afraid that I'm starting to sound like a broken record. For the money, around $110.00 to $130.00, you will not find a sturdier and more dependable folder than the SERE 2000. Not only that but it is pleasing to look at. I recently picked up a LCC that has all the look and feel of a custom knife for $145.00. Dennis, check this out. The LCC has as thick a liner as the SERE and as dependable of lockup. This is one nice knife! The Elite is also a nice knife, especially with that microbar lock. It goes for around $180.00. I think either of these 3 I have mentioned would be better than the 710. But after all that is just MY opinion.

With the combination of M2 tool steel and the axis lock, I don't think there's a knife better than the 710HS available today for less money. Still, if it were me, I'd save up the extra money and go with the SOCOM Elite. It is extremely strong, sturdy and especially smooth. The LCC may well give it a run for its money, but I haven't picked one up yet (I'm holding out for D/A version which will have a 420V blade

I have a Socom elite and a SERE 2K. The SERE is the way to go: much better feel(balance), razor sharp and considerably less expensive.

I will definately get a LCC as soon as the DA version comes out. I here so many good things about it. So many knives....so little money.
