Case Sodbuster Senior with SS blade and black Delrin:
First off, I like this knife, but I guess the generosity around here is contagious. It’s a good clean user that’s opened packages and skinned a buck. It’s big and rides in the pocket well for me.

Rules:
1. Anyone can enter.
2. Any post with a traditional knife performing some outdoors task taken by the poster counts as an entry. Cutting Flowers, opening a bag of feed, Whittling outside, cutting summer sausage on your porch.... whatever. You don't have to be in the picture.... just a knife, outside, and some task.
3. One entry per person, the first time you post in the thread with said picture will be your entry. You can post additional pictures or gab as much as you like, but only the first time counts.
4. Winner will be picked with a random number generator.
5. Winner to be picked on Wednesday April 03,2013
6. You must be 18 to enter.

Here is the prize:

Thanks for the give away Woodrow. This is not an entry as I have 3 sodbusters already. The sodbuster pattern carries comfortably, works hard and feels good in the hand without hot spots. One of the most practical of knife designs. Good on you for putting one up in this give away.

I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been more interest. I had to turn away someone who was too young. It was unfortunate, as I didn't mention anything about age and he had the maturity to ask first.

Appreciate the opportunity Woodrow  Have yet to handle a full size soddie. I miss this little GEC bullnose I had.

That's a nice big old working knife Woodrow, very generous of you my friend. Not an entry, but very grateful for the opportunity, and for all your contributions here

Here's a pic from out in the woods yesterday. Very cold and thick snow in Spring-bound Yorkshire, but I had a great day :)

Sorry for no pics....I remember my first knife I bought for use in the military was small soddie. Great knife...thanks the generosity Woodrow. I really like the handle/avatar. One of the best books/ movie I ever digested...Herb

Very cool blade Jack Black. It's good to see some pictures in the thread now. :D

Thanks pal, surprised it's quiet in here, that's a great knife. By the way, I like your giveaway rules, might have to appropriate them at some point :) I particularly like the idea of being able to post comments beyond the initial entry, great idea

Here's my Mauser Officers Knife at home on the Yorkshire Range! :D

This is me using a Case Sodbuster Jr to put a new hook on my sons fishing line.

Thanks for the great chance - but don´t count me in, because I already have the very same knife.

Hippenkniep/Sodbuser is a great pattern for hard work!
