in like that german bull...whats the blade material?..ive never owned a german bull so info would help...they known for good fit and finish?

I know you are looking for other options other than Case, but I like this one a lot hard not to keep out of pocket, the burnt barn board bone scales are nice and thin, and disappears in the pocket

The German Bull line in my opinion are well made knives for the price and natural materials used. The stag is always thick and well cut. They don't state the steel that I have seen other than it is German Steel. I have several and they hold up fine for my use...Google German Bull model 111 and 107

I would try out Heinrich Schmitz Messer... there are also so many different materials available. Like snakewood, stag, ramshorn, desert ironwood and many many others.

Maybe you can make 'em send to the US.

PM about their HP towards your direction.

Lot's of options out there other than Case for bone and stag soddies. Some will be harder to find since they are out of production. Queen made a version in stag and another version in their Schatt& Morgan line in stag as well. There are the yellow bone versions by Moore Maker(actually produced by Queen) which is one of my favorite soddies. Some over seas makers produce them too but they are hard to get ahold of unless you want to pony up some money. Here is a shot of some of my stag and bone soddies

and here is a link to my soddie thread, lots of pictures of different handled soddies for you to scroll through:D

Let me know if you have any questions and I'll try to point you in any direction I can!
