I recently purchased a case Jr. CV for edc, just wondered who else carries a sodbuster for edc. Pictures would be nice.

I've been carrying and old large sod in SS for a couple days, great knife. pics in a couple minutes. :)

I think everyone should try one of theses out. under $30, good cutter, easy to maintain, and very pocketable. My example is from 1976. :)

My first "real" knife. Bought it at a hardware store here. That was probably...1974? Dang thing was extremely sharp "out of the box". Kinda wondering why there was not more love for Sod busters here.

There is, but it's mostly contained within the Traditional subforum.

Sharp indeed, I've got a gash on my knuckle from a couple days ago, a real beaut. :o

I mostly carry a peanut but I pocket this one that was gifted to me by Chewy1 on the weekends. It's a Bulldog made in Germany, quite thinner than the Case and if you notice the handles are flat feels worst than a Case Soddie when closed but better when opened, if that makes any sense.

It's a 1/40 made in this color in 2005. I love it and will be a lifetime keeper.

I have a couple of Sodbusters. I don't carry them often, but they do occasionally make it into the rotation.

Would it be that hard for Case to put a liner lock on a Sodbuster? I just don't trust folders that big with no lock.

Wish they would on the large sod buster. Back lock would make it perfect for all cutting chores...that I do.

that said i carry a sod buster in my back pocket daily. My favorite pattern and I find the most useful for daily cutting tasks.
