SOD sheath recommendation?

Well I ordered a tan SOD which rounds out my Busse kin family. I now have blades from Busse, Swamp and SR. I have used Azwelke in the past for my kydex needs and there is nothing wrong with them. They are great sheathes but I'm just curious what else is out there?

I'd like something with lots of attachment options but not interested in leather. Do any of the spec ops sheaths fit? Any kydex makers out there that have options besides large teklock?

Thanks for any ideas.

Oh and I kinda promised to eat PB&J for the rest of Feb is the boss (wife) let me order this one. Not sure if she'll hold me to it. Guess I'll see tomorrow for breakfast!

Maybe it's just me, but my SOD is a tad bit too wide for my 8" spec ops combat master sheath. I just can't stuff it in there.

You could do this ?

I have my Tan SOD in a exposed spine sheath I made. :)

This is a DF but same principle.

I have a regular Buy Brown kydex for my SOD, and a Buy Brown open spine sheath for my Dogfather, and I recommend the regular sheath highly. It has taken a beating and still works great.

I dislike the open spine sheath, but its just personal preference. The re-sheathing is an awkward, 2-handed experience.

I have mine in a spec ops sheath but I had heat up the liner and mold it to the SOD, as well as cut a small slit at the top to accept the thick blade.

I just put the insert in the oven until it is nice and soft. I have a couple thick foam pads that I sandwich it between and two plywood boards that go over the foam. I just stand on the entire thing with the knife inserted in the liner for about a minute. This is the same thing anyone can do with kydex kits. You just have to cut the pattern you want and go from there. Occasionally the knife is a little snug. At that point I just wrap the blade in paper to give it a little extra room once it's done.
