Hi All. Would anyone purchase a Sodbuster with Micarta or G-10 handle slabs, no steel liners, an adjustable pivot screw and a pocket clip? I would! Thanks.

It might be popular among people in places in England or in European countries where a locking one hand "tactical" knife was not permissible for carry. However, for me, I would not probably not buy one. It is so close to a modern tactical folder that it looses the spirit of a Sodbuster. I would rather just use my Benchmade Pika, or buy a Spyderco Delica if I was insistant buying another piece.

Lycosa, isn't this the basic knife that you've discussed having made for you in a couple of previous threads? (Although if I recall correctly, the other had no backspring.)

IMHO, it's getting to the point that you can no longer actually call it a sodbuster even if it is somewhat based upon a sodbuster's appearance.

Blues---This would be a evolved Sodbuster. The knife that Chuck is making me is not a Sodbuster. I think it would sell but what do I know?! Tohatchi---Thanks for the link!!

Gotcha, Lycosa, but as such, (pocket clip, no liners, adjustable pivot etc) it is not really a "traditional knife" either and would be better fleshed out in the general forum.

Thanks, Blues! Should'a thought of the Non traditional thing. Sorry. Thanks for the free shipping!!
