Sodbuster mods?

Hey guys, I'm not sure if this is better to post here or over in the traditional forum.
I'm looking to swap the yellow delrin for some ebony covers on my Sodbuster Jr. and am wondering what kind of rivet is used for the pivot; is this the type with male and female ends that mate together in the middle, and if so what size is this one?
I've modded a few SAKs; is this near the same level of difficulty?

Case Sod Busters use a 'cutlery rivet' for the pivot pin, which, as you mentioned, is a male & female end compressed together, with the head on each end being wider than the body of the rivet itself. Not sure of the specific size though.

A BF member by the name of 'Seals' (Don Seals) used to do some handle mods on Case Sod Busters; it's from some of his old postings that he confirmed the use of the cutlery rivet for the pivot, as he's disassembled a fair share of them to know. I don't think he's been active on BF for a while, so I don't know if he's still doing such work. He used to post occasionally in the Traditional forum, as I recall. I've searched for more details about doing such mods, as I've been curious about it myself. But I haven't found much more info or tutorials on it, beyond seeing his mention of the cutlery rivet itself.

Okay great, thanks for the response. It should be a simple matter to drill out the rivet and measure it. I'd prefer to work with a cutlers rivet anyway, one less to peen. Thanks again:thumbsup:
