Sodbuster Question (Tight Blades)

I have a new Case Sodbuster Jr. It is just a wonderful knife, but is extremely stiff, and thus very, very difficult to open. I apologize if this is a dumb question, but is there any way to loosen it up, other than the obvious of opening and closing it as much as possible?

I would oil the joints, and work it a little and it should loosen up. I don't know as much as alot of folks on here but, it works for me. Someone may no a trick but that will help for sure.

tape the blade,oil the joints and open and fold it while watching t.v. during the comercial,wash with hot water with the blade at half stop, oil, and repeat for the rest of the show. should loosen up by the time they are counting the king crab haul.
