Software for Internet faxing?

Can anyone recommend a basic, cheap (freeware or shareware) program for sending faxes from my laptop over the internet? I'm going on a business trip for a few weeks and I have one client who refuses to use email (can ya believe it?) so I will have to send script outlines and memos to his fax machine.

If you're using Windows and have a modem, I believe it's possible to print documents to the built-in faxer. In Windows XP, check to see if it's already set up in Start Menu -> Accessories -> Communications -> Fax.

Tried that. Nothing.

well, I have a fax program that I can copy for you, but as for sending it over the internet, it won't do that... you would actually have to send it over the phone line...
