I currently own the Sog 1 Bowie, but I am a little reluctant to use it for fear of marring the blued finish. Does anyone use theirs on a consistent basis for either hunting, camping, or fishing; if so, how has the finish stood up? Does Sog offer a refinishing service just in case the finish becomes either pitted or worn away?

The SOG Bowie is a highly useful knife. But like most knives, it will show signs on use when used. The bluing can and will wear. You can touch up the bluing yourself by using a kit that can be purchased on the market. SOG does not offer re-bluing at the factory.
