SOG 2006 New Products

SUPER SOG BOWIE

I ask for a Seal 2000 7.00" x .250" AUS 6 stainless steel blade and you gave me a 7.50" x .250" AUS 8 stainless steel blade. I ask for a S1 leather handle and you gave it to me . I asked for a Trident Bowie brushed stainless steel guard and pommel and you gave it to me and then through in the Hardcase Black TiNi. Wow! All I can say right now is THANK YOU Mr. Sog.

When will the ballistic cloth sheaths be available and for how much? I would order one today if it were possible. Thank you-

Man I LOVE that Jungle Primitive. I've gotta get one as soon as they hit NGK.

I love that leather wrapped Bowie. 20 years seems hard to believe. It is a very sweet blade.
Does anone have a Satin Tigershark they want to part with? Or know where I might get one. Just interested. Write me at gema@frontier.net if ya do. Thanks. :)

It's my understanding that the first production Super SOG Bowie out the door goes to Utah.
Right, Chris?
Chris?
Hello?
(Have I mentioned lately you can't trust that guy?:p )
Denis :D

So, the new Tomcat 3.0 that we were told about in the other thread on the new products is not listed anywhere in that pdf file that I could see. It is possible that that is not the info on ALL of the new SOGs for this year? Just wondering why it was not present.

The V-Cutter will be available as a replacement item. Price has not been finalized but it will come in at $20 or less, most likely less. The blades are able to be resharpened, as it is such a small piece. I can tell you that it works great. I spent the 4 days of SHOT show demonstrating it and it worked flawlessly for the whole show and still works great.

Price on the Arcitech will be $425 and well worth every penny. The prototype I got to handle briefly was a work of art and that means the production one will be even better.

The new nylon sheaths are about 2-3 months out.

The Tomcat 3.0 is not listed in new product sheet because we got it three days before the show. But it is definitely a new item and quickly making its way to final production. My guess would be 4-6 months and we can have that knife in hand.

One last thing is that's not all... more to come...

Chris

Any idea what the release date will be on any of these? Also, any idea of the pricing for the Jungle/Primitive. I've been waiting for someone to make a knife like that for a long time. Glad it was SOG.

ROCK ON! I love this knife not only is it beautiful it doubles as a folding crowbar

The only problem with getting a new standard cary knife is you have to find one that is better then before and frankly that seems to be getting hard to do. find me another folder that can stand up to being down right assulted the way the tomcat will

Assuming there are no other changes to the tomcat design ( with the exception of the kick ass ones visable from the pic) I am really looking forward to retiring my Tomcat II to the same noble resting place on my shelf as my Tomcat I lives

No offense at all!:D They're not my first choice either, but that's what's offered on that knife... personally, I'd prefer stag or wood (for natural), and G10, CF or micarta for man-made.
