The fusion version of the revolver is definately in my future. It's about time someone figured out that constantly broke people like to buy cool knives too.

That's cool that SOG is coming out with some more affordable knives that you like. Unfortunately for some, they seem to be doing that at the expense of some of the higher end knives. I can say that the folders are getting better. I still wish the original Tomcat was around, though. Come on, maybe a "commemorative" edition? I do like the way the Vulcans look! Especially the tanto Vulcan!
 
god i want the original Tomcat so bad! mine got stolen years ago, i wept at the loss at that blade....
 
I still dont know why they cant make a plain edge without the gut hook. Still it's inexpensive enough it can live in my bob and maybe one in the van too without to many worrys. I'm also wondering why 440a instead of the 8Cr13MoV that they used in the fixation bowie and dagger.
 
440A is actually very similar to 8Cr13MoV (which is very similar to AUS8) if Im not mistaken :)
 
What's the deal with their multi-tools? They look really nice, and well made. (Especially the coated one.) Are they new this year? If not, anyone have one?

They aren't new, but they have new ones with spring assist this year

My eldest (12) has the paratool. I had to work the hinges to make them loose enough to open easily. It is a fantastic piece of work. I have a vic multi tool (old one) that is just too heavy and keeps getting put down, and left behind, so $ pending this month I am looking to get some sogs for each of my cars to go with the maglites.
