I was able to attended Blade Show 2014 this year and it was amazing. I was a little disturbed that Leatherman and Victorinox was not their but, I did not let that hold me back from enjoying myself. SOG was on the top of my list of booths to go and check out at the show. After meeting Sal and Eric at the Spyderco booth (I was playing with their clipit tools which Eric said they had additional models in the design phase such as larger sizes) and also meeting Ken Onion and then Jeff From the YouTube channel cutlerylover I made the trip to the SOG booth where I was able to play with all of their multi-tools and knives. I was in the market for purchasing a new multi-tool and wanted to check out some of SOGs products but here in North East Georgia their is not really a store to go to and check their products out and handle them. Needless to say I was very impressed with their tools upon handling them and then one of their reps came by and talked with me and I was even more impressed with the company. SOGs rep spent 15 min chatting with me and showing off all of their multi-tool designs. The Rep whos name I did not catch answered my questions and if he did not know the answer he told me he did not know unlike other companies who just Bull Shi* their way thru the entire conversation. During the conversation I asked him if they had any of the prototype tools for next year 2015 on display and he said that they did not, but 2015 was going to be a BIG YEAR for SOG with their multi-tool line. I asked the rep if it would be changes on current models or completely new designs and he said both. The SOG rep told me that he could not go into detail yet but said that I needed to really keep a eye out in 2015 for new SOG multi-tool designs.
