Hows its going guys/gals,

I'm completely new to this forum, hello.
I scoured online looking for a review of this particular SOG knife and I came up with nothing. I was in the market for a cheap EDC knife or something to throw in my bug out bag for some regular/light work use.

I picked this knife up for about $25 at a local WalMart near me. Comes with a plastic sheath w/ clip. I wanted a knife with great retention and this so far has me pleased.

Specifications:
Blade: Fixed
Blade Length: 3.8"
Overall Length: 8.75"
Finish: Stone Wash
Blade Steel: 7Cr17MoV
Handle: Rubber

Over the course of this month I will use it everyday if the opportunity presents itself. I will also be going camping in the very near future and plan to use it quite a bit.

Will keep you guys posted.

Should work just fine. The SOG stuff is "okay". I stopped actually looking at SOG stuff years ago when they copied the Spyderco hole. But that is sort of old news now as there are similar things being done by other companies. When I joined this forum in 2005, I was all about SOG stuff. My interest shifted quite a bit as I gained in knowledge and experience.

SOG has seen better days but they do make some nice offerings for the money.

Not sure if I like the contoured handle of this model but it looks like it would work well if it fits your hand.

BTW, welcome to BF.com
