I've just purchased this knife but haven't received it yet and the few reviews I've read have been good. Anyone here have any input?

Okay I've noticed the other posts in regards to this knife - It seems the consensus is the price. I agree but I couldn't stop my hand from reaching for my wallet when I saw this bad boy.

Other than price does anyone have any more input? I'll surely post some pics when I receive it. Can't wait.

I have the Arcitech in red jigged bone, and love it. To be honest, I never carry it, but it's a beautiful piece that I'm very glad to have in my collection. Top notch materials and smooth as silk operation. Hope you enjoy yours.

Most definitely. I received it monday and haven't put it down since. It's now a mainstay in my pocket. You aren't joking about the action - smooth as silk. The construction is very sturdy w/ precise tolerances. The CF Grips are the perfect texture for a pocket blade in my opinion. Also the arc lock design is most impressive. SOG has really outdone themselves with this piece. A must have.

Glad you like it! Not many people can afford this knife, that's why you don't hear about it often.
