SOG Aura camp knife

I dont have one but I used my brothers when we went camping. Its a good knife for camp cooking and maybe skinning. It also has a diamond sharpener in its handle, also not a full tang if that's a problem.
 
7cr13Mov is pretty much comparable to 440a or 420HC. It is fairly tough and rust resistant, although its edge holding ability is merely adequate. For what the knife is designed for it is completely sufficient. More importantly, it is VERY easy to sharpen with the included sharpening rod.
 
In other words, another step down to lower end, crap steel for SOG. Not terribly surprising.
