Who owns and uses one of these as an EDC? How does the BG-42 hold up and how easily does it sharpen? Thanks.

I do. They are all good as an EDC. Just that personally I don't really like the feel of Zytel pocket clip, though it's indeed very tough and durable. It's only a preference thing. It's for the clip part that I prefer to the Spyderco Delica more.

I like the autoclip. Good tanto style, quick to open and nice lock. Thumb studs make nice angle guides too (I sharpen free hand on water or diamond stones). BG-42 is some tough steel and can take all day (diamond cuts pretty fast though) but holds an edge well. I like the M2 steel on my BM910HS better, but the autoclip just handles better and is easier to close than the liner lock on the BM so it is what I grab first for run of the mill cutting and save the BM for tougher stuff.
