Hi Everyone,

Danny Warlick so graciously sent me this logo for the super secret SOG Blackworks department. :)

For those new to our forum, about six months ago, Krizzard referenced SOG's Research & Development Department (where all the new "toy" designs are experimented and played with) appropriately as "SOG Blackworks." The label was dead-on accurate and carries with it connotations of the "black ops" nature of MACV/SOG and special operations in general. It has kind of stuck with us.

This "department" is so secret, Spencer (SOG's owner and chief designer) doesn't even know about it. :)

Thanks Krizzard and Danny!

Hello Ron!

I like the logo, but, it is kinda bright for BLACKworks, no? :)

So, is Blackworks hidden deep in SOG headquarters? you know, you have to go to the washroom, flush the toilet 3 times and then press on a tile and a door opens up? :)

Hi There,

Whoa, Super cool!Great work Danny. Outstanding, simply outstanding. Just what we need to rally around.

And as all true SOG historians know, in that if these patches ever get commissioned, we would have to affix it inside our berets. Or wait 20 years and see them become rare collectables.

Perhaps we could find a way to get a SOG-K in there. About time SOG-K Command get a news letter going, Ron! I see a great mast head in our hands.

Krizzard, out.

Ron,

Thanks ALOT for posting the graphic! :)You guys make the best kinves around and it was fun making it. Let me know what any of the "Blackworks Team" think about it!!

Krizzard,

Thanks for the complement! It might look good to include a knife somewhere. In my opinion a SOG Bowie, the flagship, would be best! I'll work on it and get back to yall. I just wanted to keep it simple and very clost to the original SOG patch. REALLY GLAD you all like it!! THANKS AGAIN!!!
