SOG Blink problem

Hi, I have purchase one SOG Blink and I´m very disconform about the open assisted feature.
It´s impossible for me to get blade full opened always the blade is midway .
I have put some oil avoid to put to much pressure with my finger over assisted button but no success.
Please can anybody show me which should be the correct way to do it.

Instead of pushing the thumb stud out to the side like you would open a normal knife, push it toward the front.

These are nice little blades.
