Hi all!

Great forum! I just recently became very interested in knives and purchased my first folder - a SOG Blink! This truly is an awesome and handy little knife with beautiful build quality, indeed. I do have a question - are the thumbstuds actually 1 piece? Could I remove the one side that the belt/money clip is on so that if I did want to use it as a money/card clip things could sit better flush to the handle? Does that make sense? I don't want to start twisting with pliers and destroy my knife potentially! Hehehe

Thanks for any and all info!

No, I don't believe you can do that. I believe the studs are threaded together, one being the male end and the other a female.
I also think that the thumbstuds on the Blink may also act as the blade stop, although I am not sure of this. I know they are like that on my Twitch II.
Someone with more knowledge in this matter is sure to come around. Best of luck.
Regards

Yes, the thumbstuds on the Blink are threaded together just like mrskillz stated. Although you may be able to find a thumbstud from some other knife that would work on it.
