SOG Bluto?

Recently got the Bluto from SOG which is a pretty cool little knife! I was attracted by the handles being made out of aluminum. As i had stopped buying SOG's cause i was tired of their cheap feeling plastic handles. The Bluto like I said is cool but....the handles still seem to be like almost coated in plastic? I emailed SOG asking them about this but no reply. Anyone have a similar experience with this??

I have one and like it very much. I don't have an issue with fit and finish, and the scales/handles are fine in my opinion.

I dont have an issue with fit and finish either, just seems like the handle is plastic not aluminum!?
