Does anyone here own either a SOG Bowie or a Trident. These knives are identical except for materials. Are these knives any good(they retail at over $300)? Is either one better than the other?

Max-

If I'm not mistaken, both knives are identical except for the materials. The Trident is stainless steel with a micarta handle and nylon sheath, while the Bowie is blued steel with a leather handle and leather sheath w/ sharpening stone.

They are very strong, well made knives with sharp, pronounced grind lines; built like the proverbial brick s**t house.

If you are looking for a Trident, I have one up for sale here on BF.

Stay sharp!
