I just got one at a great price hoping to throw it in the truck for general use. After opening it up, I realized this wasn't your everyday "truck" knife due to the detailed workmanship, materials, and shaving sharp edge. I have a few Randalls set back for later and was considering doing the same with this. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Hi Bruce,

It is a beautiful knife with a lot a details in craftsmanship. It will serve any person well as either a presentation knife or a hard-use knife! What some people often forget is that this knife is an authentic reproduction, but made to higher standards, of a combat-proven fighting knife.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll probably flip a coin on whether or not to use it...but it'll probably be a little later!
