I like the idea that the scissors spring-loaded.

I have a couple of the CrossCuts and a couple CrossGrips and they both have worked great for me. Just make sure if you carry them in your pocket that you keep them in their sheath because the gears will eat your pocket and your leg up. Other than that, they are nice little tools.

I just dug up an old Leatherman Squirt of mine, and it is also spring-loaded.
